Views answer a different question
Five pancake videos can all attract huge audiences and still leave viewers with very different things to say. A view count shows how often a video was watched. It does not tell me whether people praised the result, asked for a missing detail or corrected the instructions.
The report compares five selected recipe videos with a combined 56,592,667 views. It collected 22,497 comments, of which 15,040 were classified as relevant to the pancake comparison. That gives us a sizeable conversation to inspect, while keeping the claim specific: these are reactions from commenters under these five videos, not a taste test of the recipes.
What the comments add
I can look at praise and corrections side by side, then open the comments to see what people were actually responding to. A correction about a step, a question about an ingredient and a compliment about the result are different signals. Rolling them into one popularity number would hide the part that helps someone choose a recipe.
The report also groups questions from 3,922 commenters into 961 distinct questions. For a viewer about to cook, those questions may expose unclear measurements or steps worth checking in the original video. For a creator, they show where the explanation prompted follow-up. Neither interpretation requires pretending every commenter made the recipe or that the comments prove which pancake tastes best.
How to use the comparison
Start with the reaction you care about, inspect the source comments, then watch the relevant part of the recipe video. The comparison helps you choose which claim to check. Your own kitchen is where the final verdict belongs.
